Tascosa Hot Sauce Recipes

Best Chili Submitted by D. Barnes

Brown:
2 lbs ground beef
1 small onion (chopped)
3 cloves (finely chopped)

Add:
1 can chopped tomatoes
1 jar of Tascosa Hot Sauce (Original, Mild or Extra Hot)
3 heaping tablespoons of your favorite Chili mix
3 cups water

Bring to a boil and the turn down to medium heat and cook for about 2 hours. Add more water as necessary. You can also add 1 can of pinto beans if desired.

Serve topped with shredded cheese and cornbread or crackers




Tascosa Spanish Rice Submitted by D. Barnes

Brown following ingredients in large skillet:
2 cups long grain rice
2 tablespoons oil
2 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
1 small onion

Add:
1 can of tomato sauce
1 jar of Tascosa Hot Sauce (Original, Mild or Extra Hot)
3 to 4 cups of water

Bring to a boil, turn to medium heat, and cook for 20-25 minutes. Turn off heat and cover with well fitted lid and let steam for 20 minutes undisturbed.

Serve with favorite Tex-Mex Meal.





Tortilla Cheese Rolls Submitted by D. Barnes

Mix together until well blended:
2 to 6 oz. package of cream cheese
½ jar of Tascosa Hot Sauce

Add:
1 to 1 ½ cups of shredded cheddar cheese
Chopped jalapeno slices
1 to 2 tablespoons of jalapeno juice
About ½ teaspoon of garlic powder
Add finely chopped black olives (optional)

Mix thoroughly. Using 2 packages of soft flour tortillas (10 count), spread mixture evenly over tortillas and roll tightly, put in container and cover. Set in refrigerator overnight.

Next day cut into ¾ inch slices.



Beef Burrito’s 
Brown: 2 lbs of ground beef
1 small onion (chopped)
Season with Mrs. Dash, salt, pepper & Season All

After meat is cooked add:
1 can of pinto beans
1 16 oz. jar of Tascosa Hot Sauce

Cook on low heat for approximately 20 minutes. Stir often.

Place four tortillas’ on a cookie sheet (spray with non stick spray). Fill tortillas with meat mixture. Put grated cheese over the mixture, roll them and put more cheese on top.
Bake at 375* for about 20 to 30 minutes until cheese is melted and hot.



Tascosa Queso
1 small box of Velveeta cheese
1 16oz Jar of Tascosa Hot Sauce (original, mild or extra hot)
or
1 Large Box of Velveeta Cheese
2 16 oz jars of Tascosa Hot Sauce (original, mild or extra hot)

Heat in microwave until cheese is melted. Stir every couple of minutes. Serve with chips or pour over favorite Mexican food.
Can also be served with vegetable tray.



Tascosa Pimento Cheese Dip
 
1 16 ounce jar of Tascosa Hot Sauce
12 ounces Pimento Cheese Spread
Mix together.
Serve with chips, celery or your favorite sandwich



Tascosa Sour Cream Sauce 
½ jar of Tascosa Hot Sauce (8 ounces)
8 ounces of Sour Cream
Mix together.
Makes a wonderful sauce to pour over Mexican food. Can be served hot or cold.
